In its Quality Scanner technology, Viprotron possesses an innovative, field-proven technology for flat glass surface inspection. Using the latest generation of intelligent CCD cameras and an intuitive Windows-based user interface, the Quality Scanner reliably assumes the task of monitoring glass quality within the glass finishing process. This guarantees customers uniform, reproducible glass quality.

The various Quality Scanner products offer specially adapted inspection systems for various flat glass processing areas. These systems take into account the specific requirements of the respective process and the general operational method of the respective production system.

Quality Scanner technology has been successfully implemented in the following flat glass processing and finishing areas:

• Insulated glass

In addition to the standard products available, the Quality Scanner technology allows Viprotron to efficiently adapt itself to suit new specific production requirements. The Quality Scanner can be installed both vertically and horizontally. It offers inspection heights and widths of glass sizes up to 3.21 / 3.30 m as well as of standard sizes and glass thicknesses up to 45 mm as standard (60 or 100 mm optional) at a line speed of max. 80 m / min. Viprotron is also well-equipped to develop new lenses, software algorithms or even mechanical constructs in order to fulfill special customer requirements efficiently.
